Tom Pesciotta - Director,
Saxophones and Flute

Tom graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston with degrees in Music Composition and Music Education. He played in bands throughout New England from 1974 until 1984 before moving to Rochester. Since 1985 Tom has played in a variety of bands around the Rochester area and across western New York. He joined the Greater Rochester Jazz Orchestra (now the Syndicate Jazz Band) in 2003 and became Music Director of the band in 2011. In 2017 he accepted full control of the band from its founder Tony Amoroso and continues to promote jazz with the contemporary big band sound of the Syndicate Jazz Band. The band performs annually at the Rochester International Jazz Festival.

Art Felluca - Lead Alto Sax,
soprano sax, clarinet and flute

Born and raised in Chili, Art is a composer, arranger and freelance woodwind instrumentalist who performs on alto, tenor, soprano and bari saxes, clarinet and flute. Following high school, he enlisted in the Navy with a rating of MU (Musician) and completed 5 years of service performing in Navy Band Northeast in Newport, RI. He then earned a B.A. in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music, where he played in the Berklee Concert Jazz Orchestra and Phil Wilson’s Rainbow Band. He then attended New England Conservatory, earning a Master of Music with a Concentration in Education, and performing in the NEC Jazz Orchestra. 

After teaching privately and performing extensively around New England for several years, Art moved back to Rochester with his wife and two young kids in August of 2015. He currently co-manages a busy wedding band, continues to write and arrange music, and performs with several bands around the Rochester area.

Corinn Pedrone - Alto Sax,
clarinet and flute

Corinn has been a local music teacher for many years. From an early age she studied piano and saxophone at the Eastman School of Music, Nazareth College of Rochester, and ultimately received a Masters of Music degree from Northwestern University where she studied saxophone with Fred Hemke. Corinn maintains a private studio and also teaches at the Music Store in Webster. Corrinn joined the Syndicate Jazz Band in 2015 and also plays with Your American Jukebox, The Music Makers, Coda Combo, and is the founder and directer of Shahin Swings–the Raymond J. Shahin tribute band. 

Josh Pomerleau - Tenor Sax, 
clarinet and flute

Josh is majoring in Music Education with a minor in Jazz Studies at Nazareth College where he studies saxophone, flute, and clarinet with Brad Batz as well as classical saxophone with Dr. Chisato Eda Marling.  He began his musical journey by studying saxophone with Vince Ercolamento until graduating from Webster Schroeder High School in 2018.  During high school Josh performed in a variety of ensembles with performances at the Webster Jazz Festival and the Rochester International Jazz Festival.  At Nazareth he is an active member of the Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Saxophone Ensembles. Josh joined the Syndicate Jazz Band in 2019 and also plays with The Lance Hoffman Orchestra. 

Vic Ciraldi -Tenor and Baritone Saxophone

 Vic is the Chief Financial Officer for Frontier Abstract & Research Services Inc.  He holds an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MS degree from the University of Rochester.  Vic played the clarinet in high school, learned to play the saxophone in 1999 and has studied jazz at the Nazareth College and Eastman Community Music Schools.  Gerry Mulligan, Pepper Adams and Harry Carney are his favorite baritone saxophone players.  He has been a member of the Syndicate Jazz Band since 2008.
