Tony Piazza - Lead Trombone

Tony is an attorney with Barclay Damon and specializes in litigation and insurance law. He graduated from Binghamton University and Villanova University School of Law. Music has always been a big part of his life—Tony began studying piano at the Hochstein School of Music when he was 5 years old, and trombone since middle school. In high school he studied with George Osborne (Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra) and was a member of the Bishop Kearney bands which annually performed in Europe (directed by Ray Shahin). During college he performed, and served as the student director of the Harpur Jazz Ensemble.  Tony has played in various big bands over the years, and joined the Syndicate Jazz Band in 2013.

Emily Borden - Trombone

Emily has been playing the trombone since elementary school and has found a life-long hobby in her passion for music. She received a degree in Visual Communication Design from Nazareth College of Rochester and is currently working as an assistant art director at The Martin Group in Victor, NY. Emily was a part of various ensembles at Nazareth, including the Symphonic Band, Trombone Choir, and Jazz Ensemble all four years. She's been a long-time member of her hometown's community band, the Honeoye Falls Community Concert Band, and has recently joined the Syndicate Jazz Band as one of it's newest members.
